Conclusion of a special year: 25 years of UNESCO Kinderdijk

On December 6th, we will conclude a year filled with festivities to celebrate our 25th anniversary as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is a milestone we want to share with everyone, and that’s why we invite you and your loved ones to join us for a day full of history and culture. The best part? It’s all free!

What can I do?

Immerse yourself in a world of water, wind, and determination. For over 700 years, the dikes, mills, and pumping stations of Kinderdijk have kept the land dry. Step on board our tour boat and be guided through this historical landscape. Enter the museum mills and discover the personal stories of the millers who breathe life into this beautiful place.

You are warmly welcome between 10.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Read here all the possibilities to travel to Kinderdijk in style.
