Tip: visit Kinderdijk with public transport

Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage is easy to reach, and as we are keen to preserve the environment, we encourage our visitors to travel by public transport. You can take a regular bus or embark on the Waterbus. Departing from Dordrecht or Rotterdam, this will take you right to our doorstep.

By car

Nothing beats making a trip to the windmills by water, and the best way to do that is by using the Waterbus.

Public transport

Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage is accessible all year round by public transport. From cities like Dordrecht and Rotterdam you get off at the entrance to the World Heritage!
