Are you coming to Illumination Week in Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage by car? During the evening, you can park your car at the entrance of the World Heritage for a fee (€9.50 per car). The number of available parking spaces is limited and full is full. It is not possible to reserve a parking spot.

If the parking lot is full, the parking attendant will direct you to a parking lot a bit further down the village. This parking lot is located approximately 1KM away from the entrance of the World Heritage site.

During the day, there is a shuttle bus between Kinderdijk World Heritage and the parking lot in Alblasserdam. However, this service is untill 6 p.m.
Keep this in mind if you come to the illuminated windmills in the evening!
You are also very welcome if you travel by bike! Please park your bike in the designated parking spaces.
