The new location, named Kinderdijk Kiosk, promises to be a wonderful addition alongside the existing Visitors Center. The Kiosk will primarily welcome visitors from the Waterbus, cyclists, and walkers for tickets and more information about our beautiful windmill area.
“We are pleased to open this new location and expand our services to the former Windkracht 4 building,” said Peter-Jan van Steenbergen, director of the Kinderdijk World Heritage Foundation. Megan Herremans, Branch Coordinator of Kinderdijk Kiosk, adds: “The Kiosk will not only be a place where visitors can get tickets and information about our area, they can also enjoy treats such as scooped ice cream and beautiful souvenirs.”
In recent times, employees and volunteers of the Kinderdijk World Heritage Foundation have worked hard to give the space a makeover. Currently, the finishing touches are being put in place, but we are extremely pleased to be able to welcome visitors to the ‘Kinderdijk Kiosk’ starting today.
